POINTSITE OFFERING COMPANIES ONLINE LOYALTY PROGRAMS

Toronto-based application service provider PointSite Inc. has launched a new Internet-based rewards platform that allow companies to offer a branded online loyalty program while holding onto ownership of the customer database. PointSite develops and manages the rewards program under the company's brand identity. It will host and maintain the database, collect user and transaction information, develop product redemption catalogues and oversee prize distribution. According to PointSite, it does not rent, sell or use the customer information it collects. A prize catalogue contains over 1,000 prizes including CD's and Sony Home Theatre packages. Companies offering a loyalty program can select from PointSite's prize catalogue or add their own.
