ARB ANNOUNCES WINNER, SHORTLIST IN ADVERTISING COMPETITIONS

The Ontario Advertising Review Board has picked Day Advertising of Toronto as the winner in the Government of Ontario regulatory, statutory, tender and recruitment advertising competition. Day will provide regulatory, statutory, tender and recruitment advertising services to ministries and government agencies. The shortlist of agencies vying for the account also included Bernard Hodes Group, Fuel Advertising, Recruit Ad, and Tamm Communications, all of Toronto.

The review board has also released a shortlist of six agencies in the competition for an Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation account. The OLGC is looking for an agency to provide creative and advertising services for the corporation's racetrack slots and charity casinos marketing activities. Scheduled to make presentations on September 20 are DraftWorldwide Canada, Brandworks International, Grey Canada, Padulo Integrated, Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll and Cundari Group, all of Toronto. A decision is expected by the end of the month.
