RFC&P SPICE UP GRENADA BOARD OF TOURISM

Richartz Fliss Clark & Pope, based in New York, has been named agency-of-record for the Grenada Board of Tourism. RFC&P was awarded the account following a review with three additional unnamed agencies. The marketing communications firm will be responsible for creating and executing public relations, advertising and sales promotion programs for Grenada throughout the U.S. and Canada. The account will be divided among the firm's New York, Denville, New Jersey and Toronto, Ontario offices. Advertising, media and public relations will be handled by both U.S. locations and adaptation of creative for the Canadian market, media and public relations activities for Canada will be done by the firm's Toronto office. Advertising is expected to break in September, keeping the Tourism Board's tagline "The Spice of the Caribbean." Grenada, called the Spice Islands, actually consists of three islands, Grenada, Carriacou and Petit Martinique. Public relations activities including national awareness campaigns in both Canada and the U.S. are launching now.
