The BrainStorm Group has added Nikki Hawke, Jessica Smith, Andrea Kovacs and promoted Susan Jennings. Hawke joins The BrainStorm Group as account manager from MacLaren McCann where she was an account coordinator. Hawke takes over management of The Royal Winter Fair, Jean Machine and Ehn Inc. accounts from Stacey Leavitt, who will be leaving the agency the end of May for an eight-month European sabbatical. Smith joins the agency as an account manager working on the Pearl Vision, Tip Top Tailors and Skulogix accounts. Prior to joining The BrainStorm Group, she was associate manager, fundraising at the United Way of Greater Toronto. Andrea Kovacs is the agency's newest buyer/planner, working on new campaigns and existing accounts including Kenneth Cole, Chieftain Insurance and mike's hard lemonade. Most recently she held the same position at MaxxMedia. Within the agency's studio and production centre called High Voltage, Jennings has been promoted from the role of graphic designer to studio manager.
Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting has promoted Sindy Stoller to national sales manager, English broadcasting, Paul Sedik to national sales manager, French broadcasting and Doug Davis to research manager. Stoller, who first joined the company in 1994, most recently worked as senior account executive. Sedik, who has been with the company since the summer of 1998, has been promoted from the position of senior account executive. Davis, who came to Alliance Broadcasting in the Spring of 1998, has been promoted from the position of research analyst.
