NEWAD ENTERS HIGH-TECH AD WORLD WITH VIDEOBOARDS

Toronto-based NewAd Media is taking its washroom advertising to another level with its new VideoBoards. The boards display 45-second full-motion broadcast quality video clips with sound. Currently NewAd is operating 80 VideoBoards in the Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal markets. The company has plans to expand into Toronto in May. NewAd president Patrick St. Arnaud said the VideoBoard was a natural evolution for the company. The boards, which come with an infra-red sensor that triggers the ad when someone stands in front of it, are designed to reach NewAd's target audience of 18-34 year-olds.
