COMPUTER GAME COMES TO LIFE

Ottawa-based Corel Corporation is putting out a computer game with a new twist next June. It uses live actors. Called The King, The Sword, The Legend, the game is being produced by filming over 50 actors, using traditional cinematic techniques. Initially it will work with Microsoft's Windows 95 and later it will be adapted for use on other game platforms such as the Sony PlayStation. The game is being developed by Studio Arts Multimedia of San Diego and will be distributed in North America, Germany and Japan. Print advertising created in-house by Corel will begin when the product hits the market.
