NEW AGENCY FOCUSES ON RADIO

A new Toronto agency that handles only radio advertising began operating this week. Called RadioWorks Inc., the company is owned by president Roy Hennessy and senior vice-president David Bray. Previously Hennessy was vice-president and general manager of Toronto radio station CFRB. Bray was director of the Media Innovation Group at Harrison, Young, Pesonen & Newell. David Oakes is associate director of market research at the new agency. Formerly he headed up research at Joint Communications. Sandy Davis has been named innovative services associate director. Most recently he was general manager of Toronto radio station CISS-FM. Brian Minton is in charge of database and loyalty marketing. Radio Works has entered into an association with his company, Minton Marketing Management. Previously he was head of marketing at Moffat Radio.
