Postmedia Network of Toronto has launched a self-service advertising system called the Postmedia Ad Manager. According to the company, the system allows advertisers to access inventory on approximately 150 digital and print news properties nationally. It is aimed particularly at small and medium-sized businesses. Users can customize their campaigns using geographic and contextual constraints. It also offers real-time reporting and monitoring. The system is based on technology from DanAds of Stockholm.
“The introduction of Postmedia Ad Manager marks an important milestone for Postmedia and the businesses we serve,” said Adrian Faull, senior vice-president of media sales at Postmedia. “By providing a simple and efficient way for advertisers to manage their campaigns, we are empowering local businesses to connect with their customers in meaningful ways. Our platform is designed to deliver premium ad experiences across one of the country’s largest network of trusted publications, ensuring that businesses achieve real, measurable results.”
