Tim Hortons conducts hockey giveaway

Tim Hortons has begun a product giveaway promotion to coincide with the 4 Nations Face-Off hockey tournament. The event is taking place in Montreal and Boston until Feb. 20 and features teams from Canada, the US, Finland and Sweden. During the tourament, Tim Hortons will give away various prizes to members of the chain’s Tims Reward loyalty program. If Canada beats Sweden in their game on Feb. 12, winners will receive a digital coupon via the Tim Hortons mobile application which can be redeemed for a free box of Timbits. The promotion includes the presence of the Tim Hortons logo on the helmets of Canadian players during the tournament.

“Tim Hortons is thrilled to be a partner of the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament and we can't wait to watch some of Canada's top NHL superstars take on teams from Finland, Sweden and the United States,” said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer at Tim Hortons. “We're going to be cheering along with Canadian hockey fans from coast to coast to coast and we're looking forward to offering Canadians some great Tims offers to help them celebrate every Canada win.”
