CBC News promotes Rajagopalan

CBC News has appointed Prasanna Rajagopalan to the position of senior managing director of its Ontario region. He will oversee strategy, programs, staff and stations in Hamilton, London, Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Kitchener, Waterloo and Windsor, as well as community locations and future operations in St. Catharines, Oshawa and Sault Ste. Marie. Rajagopalan was most recently director of journalism and programming at CBC Toronto.
