Heineken readies gift wrapping campaign

Beer brand Heineken is preparing a holiday season promotion in Toronto. Developed by Publicis Toronto, the effort will consist of an installation called the “Heineken Wrapping Bar” at Union Station. Consumers can visit the installation to have holiday gifts wrapped by promotional workers. The location will also offer free samples of Heineken 0.0 non-alcoholic beer. It will operate from Dec. 18 to 22. The promotion also includes digital out-of-home advertising, social media advertising and content marketing. North Strategic is providing public relations support.
“During the busy holiday season, we wanted to create a moment that helps people connect and enjoy the simple joys of this time of year,” said Jose Casillas, marketing director at Heineken Canada. “The ‘Heineken Wrapping Bar’ combines the spirit of giving with the gift of the first sip of Heineken 0.0, offering a festive space where consumers can unwind while tackling their holiday to-dos. This campaign highlights how Heineken brings refreshment and celebration to every occasion, making the holidays feel less rushed and more special.”
