Jazz begins Searching for Santa flights
By Rob Bale
Airline Jazz Aviation has begun a holiday season promotion called “Searching for Santa.” The initiative consists of a series of charter flights purporting to take children and their families to the North Pole. The first of these events takes place in Halifax on Nov. 26. Additional events will take place in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. This is the 31st year of the promotion, which annually takes approximately 350 children on these flights. The events are organization by local Jazz employees, with support from the Jazz Blue Skies Foundation.
“These events are a testament to the dedication and spirit of our employees, who go above and beyond their regular duties to bring joy to deserving children each year,” said Randolph deGooyer, president of Jazz. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for making these flights possible.”
