IPG Mediabrands, Google begin AI collaboration

IPG Mediabrands Canada has formed an agreement with Google Canada to collaborate on a series of artificial intelligence projects. Data science staff from both companies will work on AI-related projects for participating Canadian IPG clients. The first of these focuses on optimizing video inventory bidding. The second uses generative AI to identify trends and recommend creative strategies for a brand.

“This AI beta program is a natural evolution of the innovation partnership between IPG Mediabrands Canada and Google,” said Matt Thornton, managing director of agency and partners at Google Canada. “By integrating our toolsets and capabilities with the data expertise and client knowledge of IPG Mediabrands Canada, we're unlocking new possibilities for AI-driven solutions that will transform how our clients connect with their audiences.”
