Telus begins Friendly Future promotion

Communications company Telus has begun a new promotion called the “Friendly Future Sweepstakes.” The national contest promotion is intended to raise funds for post-secondary students in need of financial aid through the company’s Friendly Future Foundation. Until Nov. 30, consumers can buy tickets for the draw online. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for four to Hawaii. The supporting marketing campaign consists of advertising, social media content, content marketing and influencer activities. The ad campaign presents the personal stories of three recipients of support from the foundation.
