M&M's conducts Red One promotion

Candy company Mars Wrigley Canada has begun a promotion for its M&M’s brand tied to Amazon MGM Studios holiday-themed movie Red One. The promotion depicts the brand’s red M&M spokescharacter attempting to participate in the film. The campaign includes social media content in which the candy spokescharacters speak with the cast of the movie and insert themselves into its trailer and poster. Participating theatres in Canada will also distribute co-branded popcorn buckets. The campaign includes public relations support from Middle Child in Canada, with paid media and in-store promotion by EssenceMediaCom.
“As we dive into the holiday season, M&M’s is excited to enhance movie nights through our partnership with ‘Red One,’” said Patrick Zeng, marketing director at Mars Wrigley Canada. “By bringing our beloved snack and characters into the holiday experience, we’re creating memorable moments for families and friends to enjoy together. Our goal is to celebrate the spirit of connection and joy, ensuring that every movie night is filled with laughter.”
