Firehouse Subs releases hot sauce commercial

Fast food chain Firehouse Subs has released a new commercial promoting the return to participating restaurants of a feature called the Hot Sauce Bar. The feature offers consumers a range of 13 hot sauces to add to the chain’s menu items. The commercial, developed by Orchard Creative, depicts a customer at another restaurant becoming upset at its lack of hot sauce. The ad is accompanied by social media content and co-promotion with reality television personality Kevin Wendt. Media work is being conducted by PHD Media. Firehouse Subs is a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International.
“Over the past few years, we've heard from countless guests on social channels, by email and even through handwritten letters begging for the return of our Hot Sauce Bar,” said Dena vonWerssowetz, chief marketing officer at Firehouse Subs. “The Hot Sauce Bar has always been a fan favourite, and we are beyond excited to celebrate guests and bring back this iconic piece of Firehouse Subs' history.”
