Canadian Stuttering Association begins promotion
By Derek Winkler
The Canadian Stuttering Association has begun an initiative called “Stutter.ca” to coincide with International Stuttering Awareness Day. Developed by John St., the promotion seeks to address misconceptions about stuttering. The initiative makes us of 410,000 unique URLs, intended to represent the various ways someone who stutters might say “stutter.ca.” All of the addresses redirect to the main campaign website.
“John St.'s mission is to make our clients’ brand unignorable,” said Krystle Mullin, chief creative officer at John St. “As an agency, we’re also dedicated to creating space for people and causes that should not be ignored. The Canadian Stuttering Association provides community and connection for Canadians who stutter. With the launch of Stutter.ca on Oct. 22, our hope is to create an open dialogue about Stuttering starting with a simple fact: not all who stutter, stutter the same way.”
