Amazon Ads debuts Sponsored TV service

Amazon Ads, the unit that handled advertising on the various media services operated by Amazon, has launched a new service called Sponsored TV in several international markets. It provides a self-service advertising option for streaming television. The service is now available in Canada, Mexico, Brazil and the United Kingdom. It enables brands who sell products on Amazon Canada, for instance, to run video campaigns on livestreaming service Twitch and on third-party TV services through the company’s Fire TV applications.
