LG sponsors Toronto FC

LG Electronics Canada has signed a multi-year agreement with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to become a sponsor of the Toronto FC soccer team. The company’s logo will now appear in the sleeves of the team’s uniforms. This is the second sleeve patch sponsorship in the history of the team. LG will also become the title sponsor of West Club at BMO Field, which will be rebranded as LG Club. The sponsorship is an extension of the 15-year agreement through which LG is providing technology to MLSE.
“Toronto FC fans wear their dedication and heart on their sleeve, and we are proud to weave LG into the fabric of our kits that TFC players and fans sport passionately,” said Jordan Vader, senior vice-president of global partnerships at MLSE. “Building on the longstanding relationship between LG and MLSE, we are thrilled to expand this partnership to Toronto FC and deliver unparalleled experiences for soccer fans in our stadium and beyond.”
