Coffee Crisp conducts border promotion
By Rob Bale

Nestlé Canada recently conducted a promotion for its Coffee Crisp chocolate bar. On July 4, the brand installed a vending maching for one day at the Canada-US border crossing in Peace Arch Park in Vancouver. The machine would dispense Coffee Crisp bars to US consumers, but only when given as a gift by Canadian consumers. The promotion was developed by Cossette.
“We embraced Canadian friendliness to share Coffee Crisp with our neighbours for just one day,” said François-Julien Rainville, associate creative director at Cossette. “Coffee Crisp is a legendary Canadian chocolate bar, and it was only right to share it with our American friends. Our goal was to spark excitement about Coffee Crisp, creating a sense of fun and connection that reaches across the border.”
