McDonald's conducts moving day campaign

Fast food chain McDonald’s Canada recently ran a marketing campaign in the Montreal called “Always Around the Corner.” Developed by Cossette, the campaign was timed to coincide with July 1, a traditional moving day in Quebec. It sought to illustrate that, no matter where a consumer might move, a McDonald’s location would be nearby. The print and out-of-home creative made use of moving day images with a McDonald’s logo hidden in each of the three executions. Media work was handled by OMD.
“Come moving time, you’re always looking for something,” said François-Julien Rainville, associate creative director at Cossette. “You look for boxes, you look for parking, you look for what you’re going to eat. But the one thing you don’t have to look for is a McDonald’s.”
