Ruffles, KFC begin summer promotion

PepsiCo Foods Canada has begun a promotion for its Ruffles brand of potato chips in collaboration with fast food chain KFC Canada. The promotion isin support of a new flavour of chip called the Ruffles Double Crunch KFC Zinger. During the initiative, consumers can use TikTok or Instagram to enter a draw for a KFC-branded one-person pool called a “Plunge Bucket.” KFC is a subsidiary of Yum Brands.

“Ruffles' famous ridges and the Zinger's spicy flavours are a match made in heaven, bringing Canadians our boldest and spiciest collab yet,” said Jess Spaulding, chief marketing officer at PepsiCo Foods Canada. “For a collab this hot, we wanted to do something to help cool you down. Our Plunge Bucket puts a novel spin on the cold plunge phenomenon in a way that only Ruffles and KFC could.”
