Rona debuts new branding
By Rob Bale
Home improvement retail chain Rona has debuted new branding for stores owned by affiliated dealers. The new visual style takes the form of interior and exterior signage intended to highlight the “entrepreneurship, unique history, and community spirit” of these dealers. It includes a modified logo, outdoor pylons and door stickers that read “Dealer Owner,” and wall panels presenting the history of individual stores.
“The unique history and strong local roots of each affiliated store are differentiating elements, and we wanted to clearly highlight them with this new visual identity,” said Catherine Laporte, senior vice-president of marketing and customer experience at Rona.
