AFC Toronto debuts branding

A new professional women’s soccer team called AFC Toronto has debuted its branding. The team is part of the new Northern Super League that will begin its first season in 2025. The branding materials include a logo intended to represent the city of Toronto, the tagline “Rise Up,” and the team colours maroon and vermillion. The branding was developed in collaboration with design agency Sunday & Night of Toronto and a number of other firms.
“From the very start, we’ve been committed to taking a different approach in the development of our club and its story, and we knew the key to this was to involve the community and create a brand that was built in Toronto, for Toronto, by Torontonians,” said Jill Burgin, chief marketing officer of the team.
