Volkswagen begins mural campaign

Automaker Volkswagen Canada has begun an out-of-home campaign promoting the company’s sustainability initiatives. It consists of three murals making use of paint that absorbs carbon dioxide. Two of the executions are located in Toronto, with the third in Edmonton. As part of the campaign, Volkswagen will also donate a quantity of the same paint to the Bump Festival in Calgary, to be used in another mural.
“We've made significant progress as an organization and it's become second nature to consider the sustainability and environmental impact of our work for the future of mobility,” said Edgar Estrada, president of Volkswagen Canada. “These murals serve as a visual and engaging representation of our vision for a greener city and a greener world, where even street art helps to reduce carbon emissions.”
