Koodo breaks new campaign

Communications provider Koodo Mobile has begun a new marketing campaign called “Switch to Happy.” Developed by Camp Jefferson, the campaign promotes the company’s new “Happy Stack” bundle of mobile, Internet and streaming services in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. It focuses on the affordability and reliability of these services. The initiative is part of the brand’s ongoing “Choose Happy” campaign. It consists of two 15-second commercials that depict a hallway and a bus transforming from dull to colourful. Out-of-home advertising is also in use. Media work is being handled by Jungle Media. Koodo is a subsidiary of Telus.

“Happiness feels like it’s in short supply these days, but Koodo’s ‘Choose Happy’ platform is as much about the offering as it is about joy you feel when you get what you need,” said Julie Nikolic, creative director at Camp Jefferson. “We want to bring back the fun at every touchpoint.”
