Outwear company Baffin has signed a promotional agreement with endurance athlete Connor Emeny. Baffin will be Emeny’s official footwear and apparel sponsor during his effort to become the first person to complete an Iron-distance triathlon on every continent. Only an Antarctica-based event remains, consisting of a 3.86 km swim, a 180 km bicycle ride and a 42.2 km run. Baffin will provide Emeny and his team cold weather boots, apparel and accessories for the attempt. Baffin is a subsidiary of Canada Goose Holdings.
“Connor's unwavering dedication, unparalleled work ethic and relentless pursuit of greatness make him the perfect embodiment of Baffin's commitment to performance, quality and innovation,” said Mark Hubner, senior commercial vice-president at Baffin. “The cold is what we know and, as Connor faces the unique and formidable challenges of this expedition, we are proud to provide him with gear that will protect him from extreme conditions along the way. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Baffin family as he aims for the history books and pushes the limits of human endurance.”
