Brand Finance of London has released its annual list of the most valuable brands globally. Apple claimed the number one spot, with a value of US$517 billion. This was followed by Microsoft at US$340 billion, Google at US$330 billion, Amazon at US$308 billion, Samsung at US$99 billion, Walmart at US$96 billion, TikTok at US$84 billion and Facebook at US$75 billion. Video card company Nvidia is the fastest-growing brand, with an increase in value of 163% to US$44 billion.
“Apple has grown its brand value through strategic diversification and premiumisation,” said David Haigh, chairman and CEO of Brand Finance. “According to our research, more than 50% of respondents recognised Apple as expensive, but worth the price, reinforcing the brand's ability to demand a price premium.”
