Children Believe breaks campaign
By Derek Winkler
Charitable organization Children Believe has begun a campaign called “Believe in Girls Like Me.” Developed by New Honour Society and Strategic Objectives, the campaign is intended to “highlight the transformative potential of educating girls on a global scale” and how that relates to issues such as climate change, economic instability and human trafficking. The effort includes a one-minute video ad, accompanied by print and digital ad, as well wel public relations.
“‘Believe in Girls Like Me’ presents a way to invest in tangible, sustainable solutions to problems we all face,” said Don Mitchell, interim chief marketing officer at Children Believe. “It’s easy to think that Canadians are far removed from the effects of international giving, but as we’ve uncovered, educating girls has a global ripple effect. Our trusted and long-time partners, Strategic Objectives and New Honor Society have thoughtfully curated a program to spark hope and inspire Canadians to give generously.”
