CRTC readies Online News Act consultation

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has announced that it will conduct a public consultation this fall regarding the implementation of Bill C-18, the Online News Act. The consultation will focus on the bargaining framework for negotiations between Canadian news organizations and online properties that make use of their content. According to the CRTC, comments received during the consultation will be taken into consideration when making its decisions.
