Materne Canada of Mississauga has begun a new campaign for its GoGo Squeez product line as part of its sponsorship of Canada’s national soccer teams. The campaign, called “GoGo Goals,” encourages consumers to support the women’s national team at the FIFA Women's World Cup. It takes the form of a contest promotion on Instagram. Comsumers can enter by submitting posts showing their children watching the team, playing soccer or depicting the ways in which they stay healthy. The winner will receive a soccer-themed prize such as a private meeting with the team, a coaching session with team members, a collection of soccer equipment and additional prizes to be announced as the promotion progresses. The campaign includes the participation of soccer players Janine Beckie and Jayde Riviere. The promotion was developed by T1 Futbol.
“By partnering with Canada Soccer, GoGo Squeez is looking to help nurture young athletes and promote healthy active lifestyles for Canadian children and families through the beautiful game,” said Stuart Schneiderman, marketing director for GoGo Squeez. “Nutrition is essential for all athletes, from the very young to those representing their country on the world stage. Our mission is to emphasize the importance of nutrition and an active lifestyle for everyone. We are excited to honour our women’s national team and wish them great success in Australia.”
