Cheetos readies social media promotion

PepsiCo Foods Canada has begun a promotion for its Cheetos snack food brand, timed to coincide with “National Mac & Cheese Day” on July 14. The effort promotes a new Cheetos Mac ‘n Cheese Cheesy Ketchup flavour. It takes the form of a social media video developed in collaboration with MuchMusic called “Cheetos S(mac)k Talk.” In it, two MuchMusic host will debate whether macaroni and cheese is best eaten with ketchup or without. Consumers can also submit their opinion via social media. The video will be posted on July 14.
