Schick begins Pursue Your Passions contest

Edgewell Personal Care has begun a contest promotion for its Schick razor brand called the “Schick Pursue Your Passions Contest.” According to the company, the promotion is intended to make it easier for men to “experience their personal interests.” Four winners will receive $5,000 cash prizes to use in pursuit of their interests. One winner will be selected each week in June. Consumers can enter by posting a video on Instagram describing why they cannot currently pursue their passions. The contest is part of Schick’s ongoing “Be You. No One Else Can” campaign.

“We were disheartened to learn that 80% of Canadian men have a passion they want to pursue but haven’t had a chance due to time or money,” said Shelby Murphy, brand manager at Schick. “As a brand that celebrates individuality and your right to express yourself however you like, we want to help Canadian men pursue whatever it is they love. Giving away $20,000 to help men pursue a passion is another step towards encouraging men’s individuality and self-expression.”
