New president and CEO at Globe and Mail

Andrew Saunders has been promoted to the position of president and chief executive officer of The Globe and Mail. He will begin work on Sept. 1. Saunders is currently the newspaper’s chief revenue officer. He joined the company in 2002 as director of advertising. Prior to that, he was a vice-president at Bell Media, RoBTV and CTV. Outgoing president and CEO Phillip Crawley will retire on Aug. 31.
