The Charming Taste of Europe recently conducted a promotional event in Toronto in support of Italian wine and Greek kiwis and cherries. The event took place at French restaurant Gare De L'Est and was aimed at media and industry professionals. The Charming Taste of Europe is an initiative of the Consortium for the Protection of Wines of Abruzzo, the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Kavala, the Agricultural Cooperative of Rachi Pieria and the Union of Sweet Bordeaux Wines.
“Europe has some of the highest quality products in the world and we are delighted to be showcasing these unmistakable flavours,” said Magda Chatzi, program manager at Novacert, a Greek company the provides consulting services to the agri-food industry. “The campaign's activities showcase not only the food and drink, but all of Europe's charm, beauty, culture, history, art, and heritage.”
