SkipTheDishes debuts Inflation Cookbook
By Derek Winkler
Food deliver service SkipTheDishes has launched a new service called “Inflation Cookbook” intended to provide consumers with healthier food options at a lower cost. The initiative takes the form of an web-based presentation of weekly price trends of the 10 most popular nutritious food items. The service also provides weekly recipes that can be made from the most cost-effective ingredients, developed by artificial intelligence software, a chef and a nutritionist. The service, located at <http://www.inflationcookbook.com>, was developed in collaboration with Dentsu Creative Canada.
“We understand the important role we play in creating positive change for our industry, our communities, and our environment,” said Steve Puchala, interim CEO of SkipTheDishes. “In the face of rising food costs in Canada, Skip is committed to continuing to fight food insecurity. We're also proud to provide the Inflation Cookbook as a meal-planning tool that all Canadians can use to source affordable groceries for less.”
