Hershey resumes HER for SHE promotion

Hershey Canada has begun a promotion in collaboration with non-profit organization Girl Up Canada to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8. The promotion includes the release of five limited-edition “HER for SHE” chocolate bars. Each of the bars highlights a young Canadian woman working to “build a more positive future.” The participants are three activists, a climate researcher and the founder of a non-profit organization. Mural artist Gosia Komorski designed the packaging for the products, which will be accompanied by videos developed by Mint. The promotion also includes social media activites and a financial donation to Girl Up.
“Last year's initiative exemplified Hershey Canada's larger values and commitment to support and advance gender equity,” said Brittany Chopra, senior marketing manager at Hershey Canada. “We're so excited to extend the message even further in 2023. Having the bars on sale across Canada only serves to amplify women's voices and stories, and will encourage more Canadians to spotlight those making change in their own communities.”
