Desjardins sponsors Jump Rope for Heart

Financial cooperative the Desjardins Group has signed-on as the presenting sponsor of Jump Rope for Heart, a fundraising initiative of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Through this muli-year agreement, Desjardins will support the foundation’s work to support people who have experience heart disease or strokes. It is also intended to help promote habits in children and youth that will improve heart health. Desjardins has been a sponsor of the organization for 11 years in various ways.
“We are so thrilled to welcome Desjardins as Jump Rope for Heart's presenting partner,” said Anne Guilfoyle, director of community programs at the Heart & Stroke Foundation. “During the last school year alone, more than 450,000 kids jumped their way to a healthier future, while learning about the importance of giving back. Thanks to Desjardins's three-year commitment, we can continue to work with schools across Canada and encourage students to build healthy habits while fundraising to help beat heart disease and stroke.”
