Ritchie Bros. launches podcast, blog

Vancouver-based Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has launched a new podcast and blog that will cover news and information about the heavy equipment industry. The podcast, called the Inside Edge, and the blog, called the Ritchie Hub, will focus on equipment pricing and volume trends, auction results, inspection advice and related topics. The blog is located at <http://www.ritchie-hub.com>, while podcast is available at the same site, as well as via Spotify and Apple’s podcasting service.
“At Ritchie Bros. we collect, process and analyze an enormous amount of used equipment and retail data, with more than $150 billion worth of equipment passing through our sites and systems each day,” said Matt Ackley, chief marketing officer at the company. “We also have a ton of in-house experts and are excited to share more insights through our blog and podcast. Each month we will be diving into a different industry or equipment type and then further exploring that topic with expert interviews in our podcast. Our blog will also update customers regularly on a wide range of topics, including articles on new service offerings, upcoming auctions and results, and more.”
