Pop-Tarts begins holiday promotion

Kellogg Canada has begun a holiday season promotion for its Pop-Tarts snack food brand. For a limited time, the company will sell a new variety of the product called Pop-Tarts Frosted Gingerbread Flavour. According to the company, the product is intended to be the easiest way to construct a gingerbread house for the holidays. The effort also includes a social media component called the “Pop-Tarts Holiday Challenge.” The Instagram content features a holiday-themed house made of Pop-Tarts by bakery owners and television personalities Jenna Rea and Ashley Hutchinson. Consumers are also encouraged to submit pictures of their own gingerbread houses.
“We love to bake, but we are also moms to small children so we know how hectic the holidays can be,” said Jenna Rae Hutchinson. “Using Pop-Tarts to create a gingerbread house is a super easy, user-friendly hack that ensures you can enjoy this traditional activity with your little ones. Make sure to post a pic of your whimsical creations. We can't wait to see how creative Canadian families get with this challenge.”
