Drako, a Montreal-based company specializing in GPS data, location-based analytics and programmatic advertising, has signed an agreement with The Trade Desk, an advertising technology company based in Ventura, CA. Through this agreements, The Trade Desk clients will have access to location datasets provided by Drako. The service is aimed at online advertisers planning location-based campaigns.
“Securely encrypting datasets in a privacy-compliant way is a win for advertisers, publishers and consumers,” said Jay Goebel, general manager of data partnerships at The Trade Desk. “Making Drako’s data available to transact as UID2s will give advertisers more precision and scale to execute their advertising campaigns.”
