New president and CEO at CMA

The Toronto-based Canadian Marketing Association has appointed Alison Simpson to the position of president and chief executive officer. She will begin work Nov. 28. Simpson was most recently chief marketing officer and head of consumer business at technology company Key. Prior to that, she was the founder of Forerunner Marketing. She has also been senior vice-president of marketing, digital communications and branding at TMX Group, senior vice-president of marketing and customer experience at Holt Renfrew, executive vice-president at Bond Brand Loyalty, vice-president of marketing communications at Rogers Communications, president and COO of GWP Brand Engineering and managing director of Venture Communications.
