Sports Interaction hires Juniper Park TBWA

Online sports betting company Sports Interaction has retained Juniper Park TBWA of Toronto as its Canadian agency of record. The agency’s first campaign for the company will seek to convey to consumers its connection to Canada and Canadian sports. The campaign features music by Canadian artists, sports popular in Canadian and a voiceover that highlights the country’s “favourite sporting moments of the year.” It uses the tagline, “Wanna Bet?” The campaign consists of television commercials, online video and digital advertising. It will run through November. Media work is being handled by Spark Foundry.
“In an increasingly saturated market, the ‘Wanna Bet?’ campaign highlights Sports Interaction’s unique understanding of what makes Canadians tick,” said Liam Steuart, managing director of precision marketing at Juniper Park TBWA. “We saw this as an opportunity to be distinctly Canadian by using valuable local sports and market knowledge. Sports Interaction sounds Canadian and acts Canadian, because it is Canadian.”
