Amex conducts social media campaign

American Express Canada has begun a social media campaign. The creative depicts a mother and daughter on a birthday trip to Las Vegas. The intent is to demonstrate how American Express can ease a travel experience. In a first for the brand, the creative was shot exclusively on mobile devices with a first-person point of view. According to the company, the aim was to produce videos that resemble what real tourists would post to their social media accounts. The campaign was developed by Notch Video and North Strategic, with media planning by UM. It will run on Twitter, Pinterest, Meta and TikTok through December. The promotion is part of American Express Canada’s larger “Elevated Membership” campaign.
