Go Auto continues Let's Go campaign

Edmonton-based automotive dealership group Go Auto has resumed its “Let’s Go” advertising campaign for a fourth year. The campaign features hockey players Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers and Bo Horvat of the Vancouver Canucks, as well as fitness personalities Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod. It highlights how the recently released Go Auto mobile application can make owning a vehicle “easier, less expensive and more enjoyable.” The initiative consists of a 30-second television commercial that incorporates a QR code that links to a music video. This will be accompanied by still advertising. The campaign was developed by Round.
“Everyone knows the car buying, and ownership experience can be a real pain-point,” said Paul Riss, creative director of Round. “Go Auto goes out of their way to make the entire experience less stressful. The new Go Auto app is the latest way they make it easier for their customers to own and service their vehicles. We wanted to demonstrate that in a fun way by taking the traditional celebrity endorsement ad and turning it on its head. Connor, Bo, Hal & Joanne, teamed up with some special guests to make this campaign truly memorable.”
