DoorDash debuts Sponsored Listings
Food delivery service DoorDash has launched a new advertising function for restaurants. Called “Sponsored Listings,” the self-serve function allows restaurants to improve the placement of their listing in DoorDash searches. Participants pay for the service on the basis of orders placed. The service is intended to assist restaurants choose an audience, a budget, a targeting strategy and a campaign duration. It also allows for monitoring of the campaign.
“At DoorDash we are driven by our merchant-first philosophy, of empowering them to reach consumers where they are,” said Shilpa Arora, general manager of DoorDash Canada. “Today we are excited to announce the next step in this journey with the launch of Sponsored Listings that help our merchant partners highlight relevant content to consumers at the point of purchase and help them drive revenue.”
