
PokerStars conducts Toronto promotion

Flutter Entertainment recently conducted a promotion in Toronto for its online poker service PokerStars in association with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. The effort took the form of out-of-home advertising in Union Station to mark the home opening games of the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs. The promotion also included appearances by the teams’ mascots, as well as prize giveaways. The initiative was the first in a series of co-branded promotions that will run in Ontario through the sports seasons.
“We are always looking for ways to make the experience for our customers better, and as a leading gaming brand in the newly regulated Ontario market, we couldn't think of a better way to do this than by partnering with the Toronto teams,” said Tom Warren, marketing director of PokerStars. “Our aim is for this partnership to be a win-win for our players and fans alike, making the experience of playing with PokerStars more epic thanks to the partnership, and finding ways to make the fan experience of watching their teams better too.”
