Tim Hortons has resumed a hockey-themed promotion called “Tims NHL Trading Cards.” The card set this year includes cards autographed by Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, as well as signed Dawson Mercer cards depicting him as a Timbits Hockey player. The promotion this year also includes “3D Flow of Time” inserts, which show players morphing from their rookie season into a present-day action shot. It also includes a prize card with which a consumer can win a trip to the 2023 Stanley Cup Final or a trip to meet Sidney Crosby. Consumers can purchase a pack of cards for one dollar with a purchase of an eligible beverage, or for $1.99 without a beverage. The company will also host “Hockey Card Trade Nights” at participating Tim Hortons locations on Nov. 2 and Nov. 9.
“Hockey is a key part of the Tim Hortons DNA and we're thrilled to be getting fans excited for the start of another NHL season with our Tims NHL Trading Cards,” said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer at Tim Hortons. “Whether you're on the hunt for your favourite players or have a goal to collect them all, our set this year includes some timeless and unique card designs you'll want to add to your collection.”
