Lassonde rebrands Canton line

Food company Lassonde recently retained Lg2 of Montreal of develop new branding for its Canton line of fondue products. The initiative uses the theme: “At the heart of meals that bring us together.” The assignment includes new packaging and new names for several products intended to increase their visibility on store shelves. The agency also created a video game for the brand called “In Hot Broth,” which can be accesses via a QR code on the product packaging. In the game, players who accidentally drop food into the broth must attempt one of approximately 50 challenges. The game was integrated into the Canton website by creative agency Beauvoir and can be found at <>.

“As part of the packaging refresh, we updated the ingredients and offered new pairings in order to align with today’s eating habits,” said Élise Cropsal, creative director of branding and design at Lg2. “Together with the game we created, fondue lovers now have a whole new tradition to enjoy when sharing a meal.”
