News Media Canada readies campaign

News Media Canada is preparing a promotion timed to coincide with National Newspaper Week from October 2 to 8. The effort is intended to highlight the importance of Canadian news media in upholding democracy. The campaign includes the release of a custom font called Champions which will be free to download and use from <http://www.nationalnewspaperweek.ca>. It will also make use of print and digital advertising in local, regional and national newspapers as well as influencer activities and media relations. The promotion was developed by Craft PR, while the ad campaign was developed by The Greater.
